    Perth rental "crisis" article

I did this two weeks ago - was shocked. Perths northern suburbs and Yanchep have almost joined  A lot of it still resembles Tatooine, but give it 10-15 years....

Want to buy a nice house for PPOR.. is now the time?

This is a lifestyle decision as opposed to an investment decision, so nobody can answer it but yourself. FWIW we recently chose to upgrade our PPoR rather than jump into IP at the moment (for lifestyle reasons). Cheers, Sam

Advice on Where to Buy in the Perth Inner City Area

I work in East Perth. Every day I stare out at all those thousands of units and look up and down the empty soul-less streets, and wonder who on gods earth is buying these things? Where do they buy there coffee, what do they do on a weekend? My advice, find a location that you WANT to live in...

    Best growth potential? (WA)

You dont have enough cash for south perth but como and kenny are probably good bets - as youve found, property nearer the busy canning highway is cheaper. I prefer como as there's limited services in kenny, no easy access to the river and it gets a bit more ordinary the closer you get to george...
