R-Codes does it apply to land area or developable space?

The development requires nil street frontage so you get some extra space there. Allowable height is actually 5 storeys at the front and 3 at the rear. Am i right though that a lot of the conditions change with buildings above 3 storey? ie need for a lift, additional fire exit/proofing etc?

Chapel St reVision - New "activity" zone. Can I refinance?

They want Chapel St and the surrounding areas to be more business and pedestrian friendly by way of widening paths, planting more trees and providing more grassed areas. The council is hoping this in turn reduces traffic by encouraging vehicles to use other routes. If you just google Chapel st...

Hi all, I'm interested in a number of units in the Footscray Cotton Mill but understand they are currently zoned "special use" which means you're not allowed to live there. I called the council and they said because of it's proximity to the Port they're reluctant to change the zoning because...

$100k net passive income shopping list.

I'm not sure what the kids are doing to these skateboards? I used to skateboard over 20hrs a week and would go through a couple of boards a year. Advice to 23yo wanting to build an investment portfolio

I did plenty of research - Property was pretty much cash flow neutral WHEN RENTED, close to the beach, public transport, the city, fremantle and in a highly desireable, $million+ suburb and purchased below market value. As shown by 30% odd capital growth in 3 years I'd say it was a great...

Advice to 23yo wanting to build an investment portfolio

Good point :p I was 21 and wanted to be the first of my friends to purchase a property. I made an offer without even consulting the banka s to whether I would qualify for a loan or...
