What's Your Best Bet For The Market?

Hey Toe! Your best bet seems like a very logical explaination. Will be keen to see the clearance rates next week, i'm guessing it will be around 68%? Deltaberry - did you even read that report? I can't spot any hint of them 'claiming' anything. Wow. Must remember to tell my brother in...

Okey dokey Submission is still in its infancy, it's not been approved as yet. Coucil has asked for further information which is due back mid April. Issues at the moment are being delt with by Vic Roads (I am assuming to do with influx of traffic, and possibly not enough allocated car...

    Pascoe Vale - cnr Cumberland & O'hea

Afternoon all, Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong thread. Does anyone know what the development next to Dorothy Impey home will be, on the Corner of O'hea and Cumberland (next to the Pascoe Vale RSL). I've trolled the Moreland coucil site & 'googled' till I was blue in the...

    Kit Homes - worth it?

Hey everyone. We're about ready to start work on our PPOR, which is a knock down re-build. After a few months of agonizing searching through all the spec home sights, we found one that fit (narrow block), and meet all our needs, and built on the city side of the western ring road in Melbourne...

First IP -Triangle Piece of land?

Hey Ditto that. Even thou it maybe a 750sqm block, you'll prob find the 'usable' land value at the low 600's. What are the demographics of your location? If this is in a area with a large Asian community, you may have trouble. Cheers AV

    Melbourne for 600k and under

Howdy neighbour! ;o) You didn't pay too much at all - did you go to the auction at number 21 on your street? Went for over $650 didn't it? It was a cute house, but nothing to write home about. We'll see what the next 12 month hold, but it's not going to go backward, that's for sure. I think...

    Melbourne for 600k and under

Hey Mez Ahhh... yes, I see your dilema! Your hubby didn't just go to the Echuca races, did he? so you need a side car port type scenario that could be turned into a driveway? then a longish block that could accomodate a 3 car-garage? sorry for the hijack OP ;O)

    Melbourne for 600k and under

Hey Mez! Sure - I don't like giving exacts on the forum, but it's in the area between Westgate/Ohea/Eastgate/Anderson. We bought through Nelson Alexander in PV, John Caldo (spelling) was really lovely - BUT then had a run in with a member of their Essendon team (hung up on me!), so I can't...

    Melbourne for 600k and under

You will Spot on Mez! Thomop, hello again ;o) - since you've got kiddies, are schools an important point for you? They were for us, and in the end that was our deciding factor between PVS/PV. We bought in PVS close to the boarder of PV, a pretty run-down 3 bedder on 500sq in December for...

Maidstone Vs East Keilor and Airporst West

Hey Tuppence Thanks for asking... sold, one day before auction. LOL. Not 100% happy with the result, think I read the market wrong. If I could have my time back I might have waited a few more months, but hey. Wasn't a bad result, but not a great one to brag about either. Think the RE pulled...

Maidstone Vs East Keilor and Airporst West

Hi Thomop Funny - we're doing this exact move with 2 kids ;o) (well, maidstone to Pascoe Vale South). In our eyes, we think PVS holds more CG than Maidstone (hence the move) - but I think it may end up being pretty much like-for-like. Not 100% sure about Airport West/East Keilor.... I...

    Blowfor Frankston ?

Groundhog day.... Ditto Savanna. I've ready this same argument from Deewha/Deltaberry about 10 times.... But, back to the OP's original question, todays news lines tomorrows waste basket, and I think the security guards will disapear and no-one will remember this initiative in 6 mths time...

    Do you regret selling??

Yes, I do...had a beautiful 2bedder appt in Surrey Hills. Had our first baby, and didn't want to put additional financial pressure on us, should I not want to return to work. Did return to work, could have afforded it....but yes, hidsight is 20/20!
