Thanks, I want this quite bad. I want to see all my hard work and love be put into something I will see grow and food wise, do what I want, how I want, when I want, rather than being told what I can and can't cook (as my current employer does)
I already have my FB Supervisor and Food Safety Handling certs. I know it will be a huge step, but with the hours I'm working currently, I would love to do that in my own place instead of a large company :)
Hi guys,
Me and my best friend / co-worker have over 10 years of experience in working in busy restaurants. We are currently doing anywhere from 50 - 75 hours a week each and are thinking of investing those hours into our own place.
I've been looking for a week now (mainly online - can...
Hi guys,
We currently have 2 home loans and 1 is about to come out of its fixed term. One is currently being rented out whilst we live in the other. Just wondering what would be the best loan to setup for the investment property in regards to IO vs P&I. And would it be worth refinancing...
Hi there, not sure if this is the right spot to put it but just wondering if anyone could recommend a good electrician. We're looking at getting a few power points/aerial outlets around the house.
Also, if anyone roughly knows how much things like this cost, it'd be great to know.
Thanks...
I want to enclose down the side of the carport, for storage etc and possibly put another roller door on the rear to drive through at a later stage.
Here's a bigger picture: http://i60.tinypic.com/dmw3kp.jpg
Basically want to enclose this area and extend it out to the fence (to be able to build shelving/extra storage). Just wondering if this is possible, or who I'd have to contact in the council to ask?
House is located in Moreton Bay Regional Council in Brisbane.
Thanks...
Hi guys,
Wanting to build my fiancee a vege garden around this concrete slab. Not sure how to go about doing it, or what wood or anything. Basically want an L shape around the back half of the slab. I'm wanting it to be nearly waist height. Should I just concrete a few posts in each corner...
I have some grass and weeds that need killing at our new property and just wondering if somewhere like Masters or Bunnings sells something a bit more potent than your traditional round up? Stuff like this might not exist but I'd thought I'd ask.
Hopefully this is the sub-forum I'm meant to...
I don't think it would add much/any value, unless you were to sell ASAP. Technology is moving too fast these days and everything seems to be outdated six months down the track.
I think if you could get a nice unit around Redcliffe area you would be doing very well in that price bracket. I don't know much about units as I'm more into houses, but Redcliffe seems to be the go-to place on the northside at the moment.
So would it be 'advised' to basically transfer 100% of your pay into the offset and pay bills etc from that account?
Do they both work the same, except offset is more easily accessible?
EDIT (in reply to your edit):
Basically just wondering how to store any extra funds we may obtain. We are...
I've been reading a lot of threads tonight trying to get my head around which is better. Can anyone explain to me the positives and negatives of both? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Michael.
Northside - Bray Park, Strathpine, Lawnton, Petrie, Narangba/Burpengary (some parts of), Kallangur, Murrumba Downs and Deception Bay.
If you want to go further north, Moronfield and Caboolture.
It's a lot harder to renovate something that is so new, but maybe throw up a few pictures of the property and people can comment/give advice on where they think you can improve?
LOC, how would we go about that?
Speaking round figures,
Joint income: $110k~
PPOR: $340k, $300k loan
IP: $330-$345k, $240k loan - Rented for $335p/w.
IP is due to come off fixed in a few months, are we servicable for a LOC? How do they work out if we are? It would be really great...
