    Have you considered interstate? As Sash says in the post above mine Brisbane is where I'm looking now. Perth I think the horse may not have bolted but it's definetely not in the stable. Understandable if you want to keep things central to your location and/or potentially property manage...

    I think the economies and wage level to housing cost dynamic are so divergant as to nullify Auckland as a leading indicator for Australian cities in all but the broadest of terms.
