ANOTHER settlement question. We need to get a bank cheque from one bank (suncorp) to complete settlement (money already in account - balance of purchase) but the conveyancer has said they won't know the exact amount until the day of settlement because the other party has a loan to pay...

I think the tennants have kidnapped slumlords... ahhhhh :eek::eek:

Thanks Ricardo I will make sure we've got it available. One party of that loan will be interstate, so hope they don't need both signatures on the cheque. :eek: God this whole process is so draining. But yeah, I've said that before. lol Cheers Lisa

another question. What happens with settlement when part of the money is coming from a loan and the other is coming from a line of credit loan which is already in one purchasing parties bank account? How do we get that money to where it needs to go? Probably a silly question, but I woke up...

When do you generally find out what time your settlement is due? Who lets you know, agent? conveyancer? Our settlement date is in two weeks, just wondering when we will know what time, so we can book stuff in or have to wait. Cheers Lisa:D

Sorry, actually formal approval was 20th aug, not pre approval... got the letters from the bank on 20th. Just had to sign papers...if we had them :D
