I mentioned Ivanhoe because REA mentioned it in a party. According to him people have sold their properties in Ivanhoe with the massive profit are moving further out to Monty and Eltham.

Heidelberg is nice area, but Heidelberg West is a different neighbouring suburb and as mentioned has bad reputation and a lot of housing commission houses. Demographics in these two suburbs are like a night and a day.

You should look at an option, if your partners cover allow you to be added as a partner. Having insurnce that covers both of you can be much cheaper than two separate covers.
