Landlord experience - in Tenant years

I guess your topic is "landlord experience". If the topic was "property investment experience" - then perhaps mine would be more relevant, as it gives credit for people owning multiple properties for longer periods of time, and weights multiple properties higher. But if we go with...

Landlord experience - in Tenant years

sigh - re-read my post and my formulas/calculations again. The maths + operations I used is right, I just used a different value for what you called "duplex". It has nothing to do with brackets. I assumed the first number was the property number. i.e. I own 6 properties, so my formula is...

Landlord experience - in Tenant years

The issue isnt the plus signs - its the example. It looked to me like Dazz was saying the number of properties is weighted against the years you own it. So I thought the formula was (Property Number x Years)+(Property Number x Years).... But now I see the formula is (Property "duplex" x...

How close an eye do you keep on your property manager?

I pay all the bills for my 5x IPs myself - but that is mainly so I can cycle it all through my CC and get lots more points. Doesnt take long - I usually just do it once a month and let everything pile then - then do it in one big hit...

    Fraudulent Identity

Yeah - I recently had a loan application rejected due to too much credit applications - so I'm currently in the process of cleaning up the multiple errors (about 6 in totoal). Slowly getting there... All I remember giving was my DOB, name etc - and my DL to prove my ID. Then they sent...

    Fraudulent Identity

I moved from one unit to another a few years ago. I forgot to set up mail redirection until the last day - so about 2-3 weeks worth of mail accumulated at the old address. The new tenant kept it all and gave it to the RE agent - who put it all in one big envelope and sent it to my new address -...

Are Rates payable in advance on settlement?

My settlements in NSW all involved paying the council rates until the end of the financial year for the property - so that is pretty normal. As for council not yet receiving the said funds - thats an issue with your conveyancer.
