My duplex develpment begins. (assuming no issues in cooling off!)

OK guys. Need some advice. I am trying to choose the building materials at this point. I want an all rendered look as opposed to brick veneer at botton with rendering on top to break up the look. I have always thought that an all rendered look has a more modern and sharp appearance. I am...

    First investment?

Richard is spot on. It's insane to jump out of a plane without a parachute. Equally, its ridiculous for anyone to buy an IP having little to no investment knowledge, relying on strangers and then expecting to achieve your financial goals in the long term. sesster

    First investment?

Hey Undertaker, Congrats on your new job! I kinda feel like a broken record here cos I keep telling newbies to read and learn as much as they can (buy 5-10 books on property investing by Aussie author) before diving head first into a purchase. Many things will be clearer after you have...

Which one of these is the best deal? (Innerwest)

Hey Bobby, Yeah I was recently reading that article and the more I read the more I cringed: Strike 1: Guaranteed rent ( almost always a negative catch involved) Strike 2: cross collateralized loans (huge no no) Strike 3: 15k a year in unknown/miscalculated costs (unforgivable)...
