Struggle Street (SBS Doco on Mount Druitt)

I thought this show was a real eye opener. It doesn't claim to be representative of Mt Druitt. There are people like this everywhere. I don't know how they survive - I couldn't live a life as hard as this. To be born into an environment like this would pretty well be a life sentence - VERY...

Wow 11% seems high. I think Hobart is usually around 7% but I haven't used a Property Manager for about 12 months or more. C-mac the last boom starting in 2001/2002 did ripple out to the outer suburbs. Hobart had huge increases in values. The inner city places tend to hold their value better...

openion: Buying in Hobart CBD within 15k

Sea change and Angel that's been my experience too. As the mainland capitals boom there has in the past been a flow on to Hobart. Tasmania is also developing a strong cultural/arts/foody focus that is impacting positively on the tourism industry.

Thanks Mikezen and OTV in the past we have done well with properties in the inner and middle suburbs in Hobart after the boom peaks in larger mainland cities. Hopefully this will happen again this time:)
