    Mildura anyone

Our streets are numbered the way they are because the town was designed by Canadians who copied the American way of designing towns back in the day.

    Mildura anyone

Yeah it is, they have put in additional drainage, but in my opinion I wouldn't touch it due to the flooding risk. That whole area went under. Karinga Crt and Robyn court were under the most water. That complex of 4 you are looking at was under approx. 1 foot of water. That's why locals wont...

    WOW aren't you lucky

I don't know about anyone else here on Somersoft. But this statement annoys me the most. Recently at a friends BBQ I was asked about a unit I own, I went on to discuss with this person how it was going and that it was doing really well and had excellent tenants. Then for the person sitting on...

    Mildura anyone

QUOTE=youngm;1297934]Hmmm... OK. I was looking at a block of 4 units in Irymple. They're about $150k each (about 6 years old) and each unit generates $215/week income. It'd be a positively geared, long-term investment. If its these units you are looking at then these were a foot under...

    Mildura anyone

Be careful about buying on 15th st in Irymple, parts of it were severely flooded back in around 2010. I used to work out in Irymple and the place I worked at was under a foot of water

Highest Sustainable Major City/Town Rental Yields You Have Obtained?

Rentals are in extremely short supply here in Mildura. I had 16 parties interested in my rental here and all 16 put in an application for it. I end up renting it to a removalist company who will only camp there 2 nights a week. Less wear & tear. This was only one month ago.

    Homeswest/Dept of Housing Suburb Ranking

Adelaide - What to do & See

What a week it was It was a fairly busy week for our little family this week. We travelled down to Adelaide on Sunday and arrived at our accommodation in Eastwood. The house was a lovey 1890's semi and was very quaint. Monday - Visited the botanical gardens, then our 8mo got very sick (high...

Buying with development potential??? - Adelaide

I know this is probably a stupid question. But a famous person once said that "the stupid question is the question that is never asked", :D so here goes. I have been reading up a lot on this forum about buying in and around the Ingle farm, Pooraka and surrounding areas. A lot of the comments/...
