    New Melbourne Docklands Apartments

Docklands Ghost town is an apt description. How did the manage to get the Docklands plan so wrong? It feels like its missing a heart.

Altona for investment or principal residence?

No, its a new freeway interchange at Sneydes Rd .Under construction now, completion 2016. Should take some pressure of traffic creating a 4th freeway access for Point Cook.

Altona for investment or principal residence?

The new freeway interchange currently under construction should help ease Point Cook traffic flows. The positive effects of $40 mil freeway interchange + the recent $80 mil Williams landing rail station should not to be underestimated.

Altona for investment or principal residence?

Altona I think the jury is still out on whether Point Cook will prove a good investment. It's just a conclusion I made a while back but have yet to be proven correct. Altona has been the winner to date.

Altona for investment or principal residence?

Altona My preference would be the north end of Point Cook. It has yet to show the capital gains recently experienced in the Altona, Altona North & Altona Beach areas. Location wise its still handy at 22klm to the CBD and better value by a long margin to Altona. Also has the rail advantage over...

    where to buy in sunshine

sunshine west Sunshine West is a tough one to pick, so is Sunshine for that matter. Personally I find it hard to imagine either of these going crazy but one the other hand, previously very similar locations have done just that. For me it would be a tough decision. Prices here are cheaper for a...

    Point Cook, VIC

I'm looking purely from a PPOR perspective with my comments on Point Cook, but the older I get the more I realise life is not just about gathering more C/G. (but it is a nice bonus) I also need to live in a comfortable home and enjoy life today. Point Cook sure gives me plenty of bang for the...

    Point Cook, VIC

Point Cook Only my opinion but I think it is underrated. Not sure I would go for any of the three mentioned without further investigation but medium / long term I like Point Cook. I am biased as I live there and like it.

$500K in Melbourne - where would you buy? (Needs to be west)

Over the last 12 months I have viewed plenty of suitable PPOR property in the West. I do not have school aged children so can not comment on schooling hot spots in the West, but my pick for dollar value and a reasonably pleasant living environment would be the Northern end of Point Cook. I...

    Offer time limit. Victoria

    Melbourne prices after July 1st?

The market I'm following, (Point Cook) appears to have less listings as expected for this time of year, also noticeable is good property is selling. Prices appear stable with maybe a slightly upward bias. I think how the market performs in spring will be the real test.
