    CBA Early interest payment

Hi all, Wondering if you guys can help clarify the conflicting info from CBA's call centre and my broker. I tried to go into a branch but I got a new guy who wasn't a home loan specialist so that didn't help. CBA call centre mentioned that there is an additional promotional discount for...

Guessing an accountant can answer this better than myself but if you are in a hurry for a response, my thoughts are below. If the question how do you minimise your tax bill with the $30k bonus? Prepaying your interest brings forward an expense. This results in you having to prepay your...

    Building and Pest - Perth

Why don't you just find out from the inspector what time he's doing it? Then just meet him there so that you can have a chat face to face with him. Else I'd be inclined to organise a chat with the inspector after receiving the report for a verbal debrief.

    Building and Pest - Perth

I used their basic package together with a pest inspection but my property was very simple so nothing. Another tip I would do next time is at the inspection, bring a laptop and grab all the photos they take if they let you. It's a nice record to have. Photos are included in the report, but...

    Building and Pest - Perth

Good idea for you to be present at the inspection. I'm pretty new to home maintenance and learned quite a few little things here and there. Also a good chance to further learn about the property you are purchasing. I used Resicert for mine too.

    Strata Report Perth

I tried looking before and didn't find any companies which do this in Perth. However, the agents here usually provide the minutes of the latest AGM. Not very comprehensive but it is something. Make sure they show you the minutes and not just the agenda.

Please check / rate my excel spreadsheet

I know freeze panes is a very old Excel feature. If you don't have the pretty ribbon menu up top, I'm sure google has the answer. It is probably buried in the View menu.

Please check / rate my excel spreadsheet

Regards to column M, my understanding is that it is there so you want to see what the assets are in which is in column B but there is insufficient screen real estate. I suggest using the freeze panes function so that column B is always in view. Brief instructions for Excel 2013 below...

Any recommendations on products to use for an everyday car? I've tried Meguire's clay bar and I was pretty happy with the results, nice smooth paint finish after using it. Haven't found a wax which lasts a long time. Going to try nufinish. I'm no professional and haven't tried a range of...

    Property Financial Plans

Models have a place and if used for long periods of time, generally the final specific number is not the useful part of the model. Agree that what some property sellers do as part of their spruiking is not very useful. Overall, my opinion is that the customer needs to be educated on the...

Excel help please - excluding data

I'm not sure which Excel versions this applies to but my guess is Excel 2007 onwards. My assumption is your have a column of numbers with the first row being the name of the column (e.g. Row 1 = Price, Row 2 = $1.33, Row 3 = $1.54 etc). You could try a filter and then filter for numbers in...
