My wife and I are starting to crunch the numbers of developing 6 2x2 units (or 6 2x1.5 townhouses) on our block in Cloverdale. I've been warned to check on the public open space contribution fees that may apply. I've had a look on the web and can't find much, Stirling state they may charge it...

Thanks for the feedback guys, so it seems there's really nothing to be gained from a tax minimisation perspective in waiting till we are overseas to do the development. I'll go over it with my accountant when I see him next just to make sure.
