    My thoughts are. - layout #2 doesn't leave much room for a decent sized dining table. Only a two seater! Is this an issue for renters? - layout #2 has less cupboard space. - layout #1 doesn't have the same 'flow' as #2. #2 seems like it complements the opening out onto the deck better...
