I think nothing beats the beauty and wow factor of white tiles. Timber looks colourful - even the lightest colour and to me takes away rather than adds to anything.

I am considering tiling our apartment which is on the first floor. Do you think strata would require sound proofing of floors? I tried to get quotes for tiling but it gets very expensive to have it done.? For about 90 sqm of tiling and sound proofing how much would be a fair price?
