    BIS Shrapnel talks up Adelaide

If BIS Shrapnel is saying Adelaide prices are going up soon, perhaps it might be time to get out of the Adelaide market. They seem to have the forecasting 100% out most of the time. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/07/23/1985345.htm?section=justin I bought into...

Fixed price $3960 to sell my IP.

Hi all, This weekend, I'm doing an experiment, selling one of my IPs through an agent who charges a reasonable (nearly $4000.00 is reasonable?) fixed price for the listing regardless of the sale price. The price includes internet listing on re.com.au, GST, a window ad (I think) and, well...

My PPOR is now an IP.

Hi all, Until the other day, I had 1 PPOR and 3 IP's. Now that I've got tenants living in my PPOR, I guess I've got 4 IP's and no PPOR. I can think of a few implications... Need a valuation done on PPOR now for CGT complications. Amount owing on PPOR is low, rent is high. How long can...

    Life as a tenant

Hi all, after being a home owner for the last 7 years and owning several IPs, renting is an unpleasant experience viewed from my perpective. The first thing I realised was that once you sign on the dotted line, you are stuck with the place - "same as when you buy a property" you say...
