I found this tread as i too an pulling down an old home to rebuild and add a pool. I was looking at a fibreglass, but now may consider looking at concrete. I am in bayside Melbourne, where its mostly sand. Would this effect the choice of pool. Concrete or fibreglass.

    GST - Build 2 townhouses (Sell 1/Keep1)

I know it would be good to move into at least one of them. However my wife and kids are not prepared to move from our PPOR. I have two questions; 1. If the sale of Townhouse 1 = $770k. Does $70k go on GST or is it only the building portion ie. lets say (Land = $200k and build costs $400k.)...

Can anyone recommend a PM in Frankston?

Is it leased yet? I am wondering if i should do a nominal increase of $5 a week. If the Frankston market is tight, then maybe i should just sit on my hands and do nothing.

Can anyone recommend a PM in Frankston?

3 Months. Thats a long time. Have you reduced the rent over this period? Unless they dont advertise on realestate.com.au or on the internet, changing agents wont make a difference if you are asking for too much rent?

How was 2012? - Whats planned for 2013

So do I. I really like to read what people have achieved in the past year and what they hope to do in the next 12 months. There have been some good ones in the past. I think property investing is going to be tougher in the next few years. It easy, if prices keep going up, but thats not really...

How was 2012? - Whats planned for 2013

Interesting These type of threads were quite popular in the past. It seems to me that maybe people are quite pessimistic about the short term future. In the past people were quite forthcoming in what they wanted to achieve in the new year and were prepared to share what they achieved or did...
