    Yeah I like those suburbs too, but you wouldn't be able to buy a 4 bedroom house on a decent block of land for less than 1,600,000 in those suburbs!

    I don't think it would be a record for the suburb itself as there are some expensive streets south of Bell St, e.g. 'The Avenue', but I would say that it would be a record for a 4 bedroom house north of Bell St on 400m2 of land! Not bad returns seeing as they bought the house for 543,000 in...

    Coburg is definitely on the way up. I went to this auction on the weekend and it went for $1,001,000. It was really well renovated, but much more than I expected it to go for! http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-vic-coburg-116378535
