Hi Terry, Thanks for the info. Did you do any modelling from an overall perspective. i.e. incl. neg gearing benefits (or lack of), initial/ongoing costs for discretionary/company trusts? Would be interesting to see the impact. What sort of ongoing costs would you expect for the company...

    Proposed Development Gracetown WA

Read about it in the paper yesterday, Augusta/Margaret River Council and locals have already opposed it. Gracetown would be my pick for a holiday house down south so wouldn't mind seeing this go through. Just be another couple of years or 10 before I could afford it.

    Perth Property Market updates

Anyone read the the articles in todays and yesterdays paper re the light rail being dumped for rapid transit bus routes? Sounds like it's going to take another mining boom before the gov has funding to undertake this project. Light rail should have been a higher priority than Elizabeth Quay imo.

    Unmarked Police motorbikes (Perth)

This can be problematic. Autonomous cars is the answer. 150km/hr speed limits on freeways/highways, no one is allowed hands on wheels or feet on pedals, everyone does same speed. i-robot style.

    Unmarked Police motorbikes (Perth)

Surprises me how few people use cruise control. Solves any issue about having to constantly look at speedo or watch for cameras.
