Thanks Ali. Don't think my property falls under the new Warnervale town centre precinct. I also don't have an idea of the build cost or plans at this stage. I was more after a general idea as I'm not sure when (and if) to go ahead with the granny flat construction.

Thanks travelbug. Another newbie question, if the hotspots in these magazines are already blown or not real hotspots then how do knowledgeable investors find them? For example if I'm looking for buying an IP which will have good capital growth then where do I start looking? Reading on the forum...

Hi Scott, More in terms of graphs, hotspots, trends, etc. I haven't quite looked within the magazines in detail yet but I saw one of the magazines had "CF positive hotspots" in large fonts on the cover. Thanks.

I got my IP report done through Depriciator. The following year we installed air conditioning in that IP. Depriciator were happy to update the report for us free of charge as the asset's depreciation will only start once it's fully installed and running.
