Granny Flats and Section 94 Contributions Explained

Thanks Ali. Don't think my property falls under the new Warnervale town centre precinct. I also don't have an idea of the build cost or plans at this stage. I was more after a general idea as I'm not sure when (and if) to go ahead with the granny flat construction.

Hi Ali, Thanks for updating us. I was about to ring them but obviously wouldn't get much further over the phone if you still don't have an answer after visiting them in person  Cheers

    Paid magazines?

Thanks travelbug. Another newbie question, if the hotspots in these magazines are already blown or not real hotspots then how do knowledgeable investors find them? For example if I'm looking for buying an IP which will have good capital growth then where do I start looking? Reading on the forum...

    Paid magazines?

Hi Scott, More in terms of graphs, hotspots, trends, etc. I haven't quite looked within the magazines in detail yet but I saw one of the magazines had "CF positive hotspots" in large fonts on the cover. Thanks.

    Paid magazines?

Hi All, Being a newbie property investor, I've been reading posts on this forum and have subscribed to free regular emails from PropertyObserver, SQM Research, HerronToddWhite, YourInvestmentPropertyMag and realestate.com.au. I read them all as they trickle in. My question is am I missing...

Can you send me your Depreciation Schedule?

I got my IP report done through Depriciator. The following year we installed air conditioning in that IP. Depriciator were happy to update the report for us free of charge as the asset's depreciation will only start once it's fully installed and running.

Apartment Supply in Sydney - (Look at those Cranes)

Same story as Rhodes? I remember many years ago when I saw all those high rise buildings being constructed in Rhodes(stacked right next to each other), I thought to myself these are going to be excess stock/supply of units and will struggle with value. Gosh I was wrong! I wonder if it's going...

    Tax dilemmas!

Thanks Paul, I had no idea that there'll be no stamp duty if we changed ownership ratios while we are both living there. I always thought that it would always incur stamp duty if we changed the ownership ratios. While moving back there for 6 months will be a daunting prospect, we can...

    Property Accountant North Sydney

I can imagine! I've already lodged mine for this year, so I'll let the peak months pass and then look at contacting in early 2015. Did a whinge post above (if you scroll up a bit) as I was not happy with the kind of service I got from the tax agent with whom I did this year's tax return.

To date, around 1700 planets have been discovered outside our solar system.

I'm loving this thread. Makes a great coffee lounge discussion. In the scope of how massive our galaxy is or how massive the universe is, our planet is so small, it's utterly insignificant and thus are the beliefs that people on earth have (religions, etc). The statistical probability of...
