Property for sale - address not disclosed

Probably would've called on a lot more properties if I had known the address. I also would've thought disclosing the address would generate more enquiries = leads. Maybe in this market, a bit of reverse psychology works for the seller perhaps.

Property for sale - address not disclosed

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on why an agent would not disclose the address in the ad of a property for sale in Brisbane on realestate.com. My initial suspicion was the location was poor but this didn't seem to be the case when I called up to ask the location.

Why is this pocket of Eight Mile Plains (Brisbane) so cheap?

Ha....I took a look out of curiosity. Google street and satellite view is my favourite tool for due diligence from afar.

Capital Growth or better rental return?

It would depend on your situation. In the end, the total return on property = rental yield + capital growth. If you can afford to cover the shortfall and can make good use of negative gearing deductions + 50% discount on capital gains, go for more growth.

    rochedale south or stafford qld

I am also interested in any opinions on Stafford and surrounding areas. Location wise, it ticks the boxes for me but I do share Azazel's view I may have missed the boat on this one. Also, there were some housing commission areas but not sure if they have all moved on. Does anyone know?

    1 Million to Spend

As others have mentioned, I think property is a 5 year+ investment unless exceptional circumstances make it optimal to sell earlier. The t-costs associated with property investing are way too high for a shorter-term view imo. I would avoid paying the "brand new" premium and instead look for...

My latest purchase, Waterford West QLD

Hi, I'm new to the forum and like many others are interstate and looking to purchase in Brisbane. I appreciate this post and have a couple of questions. Just wondering if it is common to get a PM to conduct initial viewings on your behalf? I've found a few properties I like location wise...
