    i think you've convinced me....although going back into the rental market after 5 years will be odd. I vaguely remember lines of people at ofi's, places that looked nothing like the photos online and rental agents that wouldn't return calls...now to convince the other half!

    i was thinking that, but then thought that the extra $150 or so a week just to rent (given we would only get $400 p/w on our place, and renting would be about $500-$550) plus the shortfall of $100 p/w for the mortgage repayments might be a waste of funds...but maybe not....
