    Holsworthy/Wattle Grove/Hammondville

I used to live in Holsworthy for a few years and working in the city. It is quite good, basic lifestyle. Trains are a hassle as there is usually no seats in the morning and parking is full after 8am school is only average, shops are just the grocery, anything else will have to drive...

    Investing in Townhouses?

I am with Rixter on this one, TH is good for set-n-forget style. The key is to accumulate as much property as you can and let time do the work

    Driving Factors of Capital Growth

Demographics is a huge topic and have way too much data usually Over the years I have filtered down the the criteria and keep it simple - increase in population -> stick to capital cities only - good transport -> train/bus within 1 hour of CBD - shops -> walking distance to Coles/Woolies...

How many plane trips I need to buy interstate?

Thanks everyone for the great advice, I have just settled on the first IP in Logan area! The total plane trips so far.... 0 :) Having a fast scanner seem to be much more important... Planning to buy a few more properties up there this year and likely need to fly there a few times to...

    logan city - feedback

Brsibane is only half the population of sydney not 1/4 Logan is only 20km from CBD while Mt Druitt is 40km When Sydney becomes unaffordable people will move to brisbane, and when the good suburbs in Brisbane booms, people will move outwards There is also plenty of land for development...

    Opinions on Sydney

Typical media over dramatising on volatile data 3.1% in a traditionally slow quarter with annualized rate of 12.4% and it is - "Sydney's great property boom appears to have ended" ??? :)

    logan city - feedback

+1 As long as there is population increase (which usually means capital city suburbs), CG will always be there when there is good CF. Case in point, suburbs like Mt Druitt, Fairfield, Liverpool can have 30-50% CG in a few years. Logan is pretty much the same and will go up when the market returns

Rewarding yourself on reaching equity milestones

Just looking at the numbers are enough reward :) Spending a fortune on paper gains? I only have one real milestone, which is the day where passive income from property/shares/super combined equal to expense. Then might celebrate a little

Best Area Under $200K with good yield

I am only looking at places within 1 hour commute of capital cities, so my current search area is Logan and Elizabeth. With Logan a little ahead since the people sick of the Sydney/Melboune price tend to migrate up to the sunshine state

Selling Houses Australia - Grey's Point NSW

Yeah I can't believe the owners didn't take the offered price at auction! asking for 1.6mil is a bit of stretch. Grays point is on the fringe of sydney and hard to get to. River view is not as premium as ocean view and quite a lot of cheaper properites around the Georges river compare to this...

The kitchen and bathroom doesn't look very modern. The most striking feature is the amount of land, which tenants tend not to value as high For tenants, the following property at $300 is comparable http://www.realestate.com.au/property-townhouse-qld-slacks+creek-412910519

    Norwest watermark luxury apptts

Norwest Business Park tries to be like Macquaire Park but no where near it imo. Every time I drive past there it seems like lots of offices are empty I would love to have a job there in IT, but for many years I haven't found a single entry that suits me, compare to Macquarie, North Sydney and CBD
