My PM has informed me that it's my responsibility to clear the roof gutters on my IP! I'm interstate so I'd have to employ someone to do the job. I've had a look at the tenancy agreement and it seems inconclusive...talks about the tenant's responsibility to keep the drains clear but doesn't...

I pay my own mortgage but the PM pays all other bills...rates, water, emergency services levy etc. Never had any problems.

I must admit I hadn't considered cork. How does it wear? How does the cost compare etc? Cheers

Hi Zeddy, the house has vinyl laid at the moment but I am going to replace it as I intend turning this IP into a PPOR. Not sure what's under the vinyl but I suspect concrete. I believe both solid and laminate can be laid over the top?? I lean towards tiles but am open to timber too...

I agree...TOM TOM...I love mine. Used it in Canberra, Melb, country VIC and Brisbane so far and it's the best purchase I've made in a long time. Mine is the basic one (but with the slightly larger screen). You won't be sorry. :cool:

I have family in Wynn Vale (next to Golden Grove) and 1 IP in Greenwith and have heard of no issues with crime. In fact I'll probably move into my IP in Greenwith next year. ;)
