    $2m in 22 months - Rob's story ..

You didn't miss much. I'm semi retired. Property is churning along quietly. Have only bought one in the past few years - a 1 bedder in Elwood when the Melbourne market was at its lowest ebb. That one has been my biggest gainer in the past year or so, by far. To keep myself busy, I run a small...

    $2m in 22 months - Rob's story ..

Pretty good, actually. For the "big reveal", you'll have to head to the newsagent and have a look at the very back page of this months issue of Your Investment Property magazine.

    Cockney Rhyming Slang

Do they check the time on their 'kettle' to see if they're late for an appointment to get their 'Hampsteads' checked? Wonder if their dentist is a '4 x 2'?

Why Do Most Investors Stop Purchasing After Two Properties??

Just clicked on that link and my name popped up on a very old post. There was a time when I appeared to know what I was talking about :) It would be interesting to see some more recent stats. I suspect the percentages haven't changed very much.

How to clean white floor grout

I've had some success using a thick bleach such as Domestos. It tends to cling to the grout. The trick is to apply liberally and leave it. After, say, 12 hours or more, try scrubbing with a stiff grout brush (available at supermarkets). If that fails, regrouting is probably the only other...

Taking the plunge and getting first IP

If you want advice on how to spend your career working in the banking industry, he sounds like the "go to" guy. take his advice. If you want to be a successful investor, listen to those who are, themselves, successful investors. The first thing I would ask any broker would be how many IP's...

how to finance a new car

http://www.eurekareport.com.au/article/2010/9/8/there-money-atms This is an extract of an interview I did regarding ATM's as a cash flow investment. The full article (published in API) was once available on the Own Your Own ATM website, but I think they have withdrawn it as the arguments...

    Multi-Millionaire

There was a time when being a "millionaire" meant being able to live the "millionaire lifestyle", according to the perceptions of the average person. The "high life" as some would have called it. If we were to take that historical perception and move into current time, I would argue that you...

Adelaide - Public Transport to Unley Park

My kids were doing it around that age and it's no problem at all. You would have to try real hard to stuff it up or get lost. Its Adelaide. There's nowhere to get lost :) The "bus hub" in the CBD is very well signed and well laid out. They make it very hard for anyone get it wrong.

Adelaide - Public Transport to Unley Park

Unley is only a few minutes from the city. Nearly all bus routes go through the CBD, so, rather than restrict your options to areas with direct routes to Unley, you could look at other options that would involve taking a bus to/from the city and jumping on the bus to/from the destination in Unley.

    Mould..Who is responsible?

Maybe the previous tenant used the split system more so than the current tenants. This would have had the same effect as a dehumidifier in that it would have removed substantial moiture from the air. Perhaps the previous tenants opened the windows for longer periods of time. Many variables...

Fibro house. What can go wrong?

Isn't the market price, then, the amount you offered, assuming the offer is accepted by the vendor? Market Price is usually defined as the price at which a buyer and seller converge at a given point in time.
