another perfect example of people misuing stats to achieve their own ends. 1) using average salary and median prices - apples and oranges. 2) using medians to calculate anything.

have you worked in the US? seen their wages? their houses are probably the best price to income ratio for AUSTRALIANS - but certainly not for americans. especially those that have been out of work for 12m or more and no longer make up official UE stats.

they could be using net income, not gross.
