i see it as a very real possibility. then we have "first world" people, who are nothing more than economic refugees, coming to Australia. which is amusing, because those against "boat people" seem to think that if they're on the boat for economic reasons, then it's not on and theyshould be...

Would you riot if your country was up the *****?

i see a worrying trend. we start with this attitude of "too bad so sad" for a reasonably developed (i say reasonably because the sewer system is 2000 years old and you cant even put paper in it) country with 11mil people. we then get a domino effect across the already indebted parts of the...

Would you riot if your country was up the *****?

people are so pessimistic and/or apathetic and/or both they could realise the dangers, expect it, yet carry on like it'll fix itself. this has all happened before - what we have seen recently is akin to the 1907 panic - which signals more desperate times to follow.

no not at all! it was a joke, jaycee. nothing more. having been to Greece and tried to get 1) clean sheets 2) a car rental 3) food 4) transport my views are entirely my own and my comments are made from personal experience across a narrow field of demographia. cheers.

Would you riot if your country was up the *****?

what even more amazing is that "service" and "Greece" are an oxymoron when used in the same sentence.

Would you riot if your country was up the *****?

that's exactly my point. one hand the educated and smart movers are seen as threats. the other hand they are just aligning their financial outcomes to sit well in any environment. in a revolution, the educated are always eliminated first. those with money can buy some time and those...

Would you riot if your country was up the *****?

you're right - it's anarchy - not democracy - people power whereby the mob rules.

Would you riot if your country was up the *****?

would i riot? no. i'm what you call a sleeper terrorist, apparently - someone defined as having the intelligence and the contacts to create effective terrorism, but lacking any motivation to do so. this is what the US are worried about most and why they go above and beyond their "listening"...
