Getting rid of the Carbon Tax

Given the backflipping and lying that Julia Gillard has undertaken, it would be political suicide for Abbott to not repeal the Big Tax On Everything once he is in power. He would be deposed from the Liberal leadership far quicker than Kevin Rudd was.

Getting rid of the Carbon Tax

Well like both Labor and Liberal there will be rusted on supporters of the Greens. But wouldn't it be fair to argue that a significant proportion of Greens voters aren't rusted on and simply voted for them based on disillusionment with Labor/Liberal? Getting rid of the Carbon Tax

Belbo I am not sure why you are harping on about Abbott's 'policies'...he hasn't even made the election campaign/promises yet for 2013. After he's done so then you can accuse it of having blackholes etc, now it is just pure speculation.

Getting rid of the Carbon Tax

Dazz what do you mean "They currently have 72 in the Lower house, so would need to retain everyone they currently have, and pick up an extra 9 at least. This is the hard route......it involves yet another full election.....big turmoil."? Wouldn't the next election in 2013 presumably give the...
