    Chinchilla - hold or run?

Not familiar with most of those projects, but I'm pretty skeptical about the Nathan dam project getting up. I wonder how many of the projects are going to bring people to live in town.

    Chinchilla - hold or run?

THanks. I'm skipping town. Looking for a rental around Bargara at this stage, going to stop working for a bit or maybe retire. I'm liking the sleepy beach lifestyle while being close to all the facilities folks in large towns/cities take for granted. Emerald is a nice place to live, but I...

    Chinchilla - hold or run?

I feel your pain. Our PPoR in Emerald settled just this past week. We were lucky to get within 100K of what is was worth at the peak in 2012. I notice Queensland government is predicting crazy economic growth next financial year via a gas boom, so with a bit of luck Chinchilla might get...

    Chinchilla - hold or run?

Is there still a compelling narrative to justify holding onto IP's in Chinchilla? I'd hate to be pulling the plug and crystallising losses but at some point it must have crossed your mind. I'm not waiting for a market recovery to try and sell my PPoR in Emerald (fingers crossed it'll sell...

    Chinchilla - hold or run?

Eh, don't get me started. I bit my tongue when folks said Emerald was a pretty safe bet because it was a diversified economy. Now it's fallen further than I thought it would and still going down. Read in the paper this week that there's a master planned estate with 190 lots and 145 townhouses...
