    $10k wouldn't go far for water rates - about 7 or 8 properties in WA. so with the blue bills filed, next it's the pink and green ones from the council. then the boring one in sep from land tax office. come Jan you can start to keep some rent money... or pay back the bank's interest if you have...

    depends what you want to do I suppose. I like the finer things and - shock horror - like to buy fancy new cars. seriosuly tho there is only so much I can spend and I reckon $15k a month is way more than I would want

    so 10 x $400k = $4m 5 x $1m = $5m a house say $2m $11m clear resi yield say $200k gross comm yield say $450k nett can you really spend $10k a week?

    once you own your house you dont need a lot of income. a decent comm and 1 or 2 resis as backup would be ample income. 50 RIPs... it really does sound like a nightmare
