Just heard an announcement from the news presenter on the radio this morning, 3 of the LNG plants have signed a contract to provide Gladstone with $19.8 Million housing to help with the rental crisis. After a bit of thought, that's only going to be something like 40 houses, so no big deal...

Just out of interest, what estate is this in?! That's amazing. I just got a tennant to sign a lease for $620 p/w at the start of Feb, on my house I purchased for $480k, in Sun Valley, 8 Y.O 4/4/2. So yeah.. damn

Things like are they near shops, schools, pubs etc etc, and I'd like a newer house for depreciation + less maintenance, and something around 3/4 bedrooms, w/ 2 bathrooms and at least 1 car port. Things are being sold after being on the market for less than 24 hours!

I've been looking for like a month now, and I'm having trouble finding something in Gladstone. I want to get something asap, but when keeping in mind the 'rules' (what to look for, location etc etc) I keep ruling out potential investments and I'm just worried that the prices will have soared...
