    I've read all his books a number of times each, and I didn't get that impression. I think he was simply trying to make folks think about other possibilities other than just being a PAYE and nothing else, trying to think about their own future and not relying on others to provide it for them.

    I find it interesting how these types think they are "clever", but are invariably in the lower paid (or maybe a tad higher) jobs for their whole working life, and then retire on a pension.....

    To me, the solution is simple enough; what your salary/wage was paying you per hour/week should be at least what you get from the business - and then some. Why? because the risk you take and the responsibility you are burdened with (especially if you employ staff) is higher in most cases...
