Right...so based on all these things seemingly turning into a "perfect storm" scenario...is it time to pay off debt? Should we halt on accumulation and pay down debt fast and begin purchasing again once we are on the other side of this thing? Whats the consesus?

Anyone see the US employment numbers out today? Scary! 450,000 jobs added last month, 95% of them public census hiring. There is no recovery people, the only thing maintaining the illusion is govt. deficit spending. How long before that tap is switched off? With european debt contagion...

35 K I can buy outright. But sorry I dont believe it, I'm sure they list it as 35K but its either a ghetto which requires extreme renovations or there are some hidden federal taxes somewhere or other charges that add another 200K.

I would say that america is only a good place to live if your well off. Ive your middle class (this class is quickly becoming the new poor) than don't bother. The crime is horrendous, the attitude of people there is pretty foul. Many of what we call normal streets here look like ghettos...
