    Imagine if the market tanked like the US did. Interest rates might fall to 0, and inner city properties within 5-15 minute walking distance to the CBD would probably still be rented. Hmmm... that means I might actually retire.

    That's if by and large $170k is comparable to $1.2m. It probably is close. I would've thought more around $220k or so though.
