    Didn't say anything about ingenuity, just the fairness in getting 45% of the GST we raise back from the feds and dropping. Meanwhile NSW and Vic get almost all of it back whilst we support them.

    Um, MRRT gets the boot, Carbon Tax gets the boot, 457 visa restrictions eased rtc and thus the business landscape becomes more investor friendly. That might have some effect? :confused:

    Exactly. People keep getting the construction boom confused with the production boom. What is happening in WA is a direct result of construction workforces being scaled back as major projects wrap up. That being said, it's not like everything in the O&G and Min sector is stopping...
