Diet, Exercise and Weight loss - help!

Alex, to make things a little easier on yourself when dieting and training hard, allow yourself 1 cheat meal a week. Make it your last meal of the day, if you can, if not lunch, that way it doesnt turn into a cheat day full of crap. If you feel like a burger, or pizza, or ice cream on that...

In all honesty, Hormone Replacement Therapy would be a godsend to your husband, and would help him keep / gain some muscle, burn the fat, and get his energy and mood levels back up. Speak to your local GP about it if you are interested. Personally i have spoken to many men from mid 30s to 60s...

Dont worry, i know BMI is rubbish, but for your average person who isnt an athlete, it can be a close enough indicator (unless you are way above/below average height). Im obese, or 1 point off obese with my BMI, i know people at 6-7%bf who are morbidly obese on the chart haha

Well then ill be damned! Changes things a little there with 58kg being the target weight. Being a female (yes, i was fooled) that would be close to an ideal weight.

My brother is 58kg at 5`9 and has to buy girls jeans because mens jeans dont fit him, the doctor has told him to eat more, do some strength work in a gym because physically he is very frail. No, im not one of "those people", but there is point when losing too much weight becomes more...

Ive had a diet plan written up for me by Australias best bodybuilder, Hayzer Cayli. He took what i was eating, didnt add or subtract anything, but just changed when i ate what, and my body noticeably changed. Everyones different though, and we all respond to different things. About smaller...

I know its how many calories at the end of the day vs what you burn that accounts for weight loss/gain, but i can tell you if i have a carb meal for dinner, i wake up bloaty and puffy the next morning. Post workout shake is purely to get something in the system. If you are going to train...

Just a reply regarding muscle and "tone". Tone will come from a hardening of the muscles, and a drop in bodyfat. I have trained for 4 years now, and have gone from 68 - 83kg, but honestly i was more "toned" when i wasnt doing weights, and was playing soccer/running. This is because my body...

I would have a protein shake before training, or a small meal with a little bit of carbs and protein (tuna sandwich?). Try have these 30-45 mins before training.
