This property was reno'd and resold. It would be interesting to know the numbers, I don't think there would have been much profit. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-wa-bassendean-112151643

kIDD1 The property price has dropped now - it may be in your price range. MTR - I have a lot of materials I could use for reno's, so my main expenses would be labour for tiler and possibly some cabinetmaking. It would be OK if you were confident prices would go up during that period, or if you...

By block, I should have specified about 500sqm, riverside, close to town centre. According to RE, property above is being sold at block value. This property sold for $20,000 less than boom times, for block value http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-wa-bassendean-106620655

Hi MTR, I've done limited research but it does look like an area for potential to do reno's to me. I think it will achieve good growth in the future, and nicely renovated properties sell for a premium. Developing could be worth getting into too. Land is getting more scarce there, and should...

Just got back from 2nd inpection Bassendean- has potential - but you'd need to budget extra $$$. Kiara's good because it has lots of cul-de-sac's. Lockridge people aren't allowed to cross Altone Road, ha,ha. Kiara is very low crime. And Morley side is more popular.

Yer but did you notice the basin in the bathroom is the nicest part of the bathroom, but there's a leak in the plumbing so vanity would need replacing. + plumbing repairs + shower is either not sealed or plumbing probs behind that. The aircon smells stale - like old ashtray or something. Not...

http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-wa-kiara-106626233 I'd expect Bass and Parts of Eden Hill to have better growth as close to train - but they could also possibly have more maintenance/repairs needed if older properties.

I don't know Marangaroo, I'd go for any of those suburbs except Mirrabooka. I'd look at Kiara also though.
