I'm no fan of Gillard. I just find her slightly less detestable than Abbott. My point is those focussing on one brand being economical with the truth gloss over their preferred brand doing a similar thing. Because that is the brand that aligns with their own bias and social identity.

Anyone who thinks that one brand of politician is impeccable and the other isn't is delusional to the point of fantasy. They will all lie, cheat, steal, provide half truths and manipulate the situation for their own gain. No matter which brand they are.
