The problem is many are in denial and refuse to contemplate anything other than what they have been told.... In this case, whilst it is possible that your assertion that Australia may already be in a recession could be true, many will utterly refute it until such time as they are told it is true...

mmmmmm...... this definitely points towards a downturn. It will be very interesting to see the final GDP print for Q1 and whether it is still in the black. If not, our economic timeline may be further advanced than I first thought.... :(
