    Sadly it's not uncommon. I'd guess that the majority of the general broker/banker population would cross up loans. Most just don't know any better and/or can't be stuffed doing it properly. Cheers Jamie

    I'm a bit of a tart more than a queen - I use a decent spread of lenders. This one just happened to be ANZ.

    Just got a 1.16% discount with ANZ on $800k at 90% + LMI across four loan splits. I wasn't expecting that :-) Cheers Jamie

    Make sure that when putting in a discount request that you mention that your properties gone up since purchase and LMI on the refi wouldn't be applicable. Cheers Jamie

    Yep - it's weird. They will counter offer - and then you have to explain "nicely" that you're not joking around and your client will be going to lender x if the appropriate discount isn't granted. After a bit of stuffing around we usually get there. Agree on the 4.7% Cheers Jamie
