Totally aware Jaycee as I hand over my $3.40 each morning. It never occured to me to add it up until recently. A mate was telling me about an espresso machine he bought for around $450 which sounded pretty good. I was thinking if I got one and used that instead of having my morning take away...

If I had coffee and cake everyday I think my wallet would be the least of my concerns. Assuming that I have a coffee each weekday of the year @ $3.40 a cup that's $3.40 x 5 x 52 = $884. Hmmm....where's that instant "coffee".....

I added up the yearly cost of my weekday coffee shop coffee the other day.....$884 per year!!! Something that is 'only a few dollars' at the time adds up surprisingly quickly.
