    Coolbellup has been my diamond in the rough. Bought a place 18 months ago for 215k, and looking around at similar houses I think it would be valued at 400-440k and still going up...and friends said..."Coolbellup! yuck...south of the river, low income, blah, blah, blah"... Go Coolbellup:D...

    Delta, Great article. Not only investors that bought 2-3 years ago. I purchased a duplex house in Scarborough 11 months ago for $520000 it’s valued at around $625-650000 today :) Even if you take the exorbitant WA stamp duty :mad: out of the deal it is a good return for the year. Lacasa

    Same deal more or less as Rixter, Had the same tenant for 10 months who needed to break his lease as family circumstances had changed. My property manager had already found a suitable replacement before contacting me, who wanted a lease for 2 years...while their house got built! Lacasa
