Wow, maybe I should have started a poll? The advice has been great! The main reason for my question is that we have moved out of Sydney, renting out our previous PPOR for $250 per week. We are now living in a house worth around $450,000 paying a rent of $215 per week. The more I think...

My question is simple. Is there anyone out there who rents and invests as opposed to having a PPOR and investing? What would you say are the pro's and/or cons of one vs the other? Lisa :-)
