Pretty common scam along with the 'i am a sailor and want to buy ***** for a gift, i am on a boat so I cannt get to a bank but i can pay with paypal' As gumtree suggests, it is a website for face to face deals only. Its not a rule just for kicks, its to prevent people being scammed :)
