That is your choice whether you have empathy or not. Still think no one deserves to be killed, be that in a war or for a crime. There have to be other ways. And they did show remorse and rehabilitation.

They don't deserve to die, no one deserves to be killed. They could have stayed behind bars and continued to make a difference to give their lives a meaning.
