Always move settlement funds to the nominated account on TWO WORKING DAYS prior to settlement...Because if you do move funds to the nominated account on the Sunday before the settlement, your solicitor will call you on Monday (the day of settlement) to advise the bank can't see the funds !!! Do not get a handyman to do the tiling. It costs twice as much. Always ask for the invoice (even with PPOR) Don't pay cash Always check the licence and make sure the tradie is insured- MsAli
