    I don't know actually, I'm not an investor yet. I don't know what pro investors would consider to be excellent, but from my point of view.. if I can buy a house for under $300k and get $300 a week rent, thats most of the mortgage paid. I'm no expert but I'd be pretty happy with that return :)...

    Bought and been living on the Coast for over a year now. Bit further up than most suburbs spoken of in this thread, but even up here the For Sale signs go up and down pretty fast. It's a great place to live and rental returns are excellent (I don't have an IP yet though). You just have to know...
