Great suburb. Close to CBD and all facilities. Very expensive but you'll do well if you are a buy and never sell investor.

I'd prefer Griffin to Kallangur as it is so much closer to CBD and so capital growth is likely to be higher. Parts of Kallangur are close to rail. Kallangur's blocks are larger.

Kedron units seem to be selling quickly. A friend who has a Kedron unit sold it yesterday for $405K after 10 days on the market. Previous best price in the same complex over last few years was $365K. Not sure how units are going in other areas.

If you are willing to hold long term (ie over 5 years), you will probably do ok with Caboolture.

It's one of the blue ribbon suburbs of Brisbane. Expect to pay big bucks!!

I agree with Nat about Chermside. It's a lot pricier than the other areas and of course a lot closer to Brisbane CBD although there are no rail links - very good bus options. With Zillmere, there are the good and not so good parts. In those areas bordering Aspley, there are not the housing...
