How do these people get financing?!

I think they would get very similar selling and renting prices at the moment but who knows what it'll be like in a few years when it is passed and the units built. I would personally hold onto the units and rent them out if I could but it would depend on what your goals are.

Theres a property back up for sale I went and looked at about 6-8 months ago for the same price. Gonna have a look if it looks worse then it did before but it's about 60-100K below the average selling price. Roof probably caved in by the state of it last time lol

I wonder what the housing demand will be if/when the rezoning is approved. Do you see a flood of cheap developments occuring in girrawheen & koondoola? Will the prices and developments drop like they did in Balaga many years ago? Time will tell

I do like Mirrabooka as I lived there for over 20 years. I find it doesn't get the good attention though. Three houses on my street are recently under contract, 400K and over for 3x1, high 490 for 5x2. Mines a 4x1 with larger land then those three...

Sounds like the owner might need the cash bad but deal looks pretty good. Are they putting this deposit in a trust until it is all settled, I would hope so.

I'm buying my PPOR and another possible investment next month, already prepared everything just waiting. I won't be able to buy anymore until they get revalued and I'm hoping of doing some renovations. I don't think I'll buy in Girrawheen now as the cost is to high and subdividing is so far...

I'm tempted to do a title search to see who purchased it. I got told is was under offer end of December but why would the estate accept a 4 month settlement. I even saw some of the offers on paper while I was doing mine and they were more then what I offered. Maybe a family member purchased...
